This special edition of Revenue Riser is all about virtual sales kickoffs with your host Anna Britnor Guest. Over the years I've attended a number of kickoffs, and I love the energy of a sales kickoff. But I've also been concerned that they can be a little bit too event driven, a moment in time where the team comes together, connects over food, drinks and the endless coffee, revs up with excitement for the year ahead and then dissipates back to the four corners of the globe. So I've been advocating a re-think of how we deliver kickoffs to both nurture the relationships, and create learning that directly and intentionally impacts on performance and revenue. I also think one of the silver linings of the pandemic is that we're being forced to question and be more creative about how we do a whole bunch of things. And I think sales kickoffs of the future will truly benefit from this more virtual experience now, and have the opportunity to emerge as a best of all worlds blended event in 2022. More on that later. For this episode, I wanted to focus on how to create a kickoff that genuinely impacts on your sales capability to deliver the numbers. To demonstrate and help to give some real world examples of this, I was really excited to welcome three guests to this episode.
